TIPS. If you have been in an automobile accident that was not your fault, here are some tips on what to do:

  • Exchange insurance information with the other driver at the scene of the accident. Under Arizona law, the other driver must give you their insurance information after an accident.
  • Write down the other driver's name, address, date of birth, and telephone number.
  • If the accident occurred on public property, call the police immediately. The police will be able to prepare a police report that you can later use to help your case. The police may give the other driver a ticket, which will also help your case.
  • Seek medical treatment immediately following the accident. Your injury may be more severe than you realize.
  • Call our office as soon as possible so that we can give you legal advice and help you get your car repaired.
  • DO NOT discuss your injuries with any insurance company until you have spoken to an attorney.

INJURY NOT SERIOUS? Even if your injuries are not serious, you still may be entitled to financial compensation. Many of our clients have been compensated for minor injuries, such as bruises, cuts, scrapes and whiplash. We take all injury cases seriously and so should you!

ACT QUICKLY. It is important that you contact our office immediately after you have been injured. The longer you wait, the harder it is for us to prove that your injury was caused by an automobile accident. We need to act immediately to gather the evidence we need to prove your case in court.
